Hello! This week we ask why is Russia increasingly bringing its fleet of sanctions-busting tankers in from the shadows, and is it an effective strategy to help ship its oil around the world.

Shadow fleet tankers have been rushing to re-register themselves under Russian jurisdiction in the hope it will protect them from being seized by the United States and its allies. The tactic makes some sense, according to experts interviewed by The Bell, but over the longer-term, the spread of flag-hopping could create new problems for Moscow.
