Moscow stands to benefit from all-out war between Israel and Iran

Although the outbreak of conflict between Israel and Iran will not have taken the Kremlin by surprise, Moscow is unlikely to have sufficient political weight on the international stage to calm the situation. But even if Vladimir Putin does not get to play the role of mediator, the Kremlin could still be a beneficiary of the hostilities.
