A wave of Russian strikes on Ukraine’s power and heating infrastructure has pushed the country into one of its deepest energy crises since the start of the invasion. Russian state TV and propaganda outlets have lapped up the hardship facing millions of Ukrainians, blaming the government in Kyiv and gloating about Russian military prowess as the war approaches the four-year mark.
