State’s snapping up of assets leaves no business safe
The war in Ukraine has triggered Russia’s biggest redistribution of property in decades. Unsurprisingly, state-linked corporations and Putin's inner circle are the main beneficiaries. The process has hit the interests of dozens of Russian billionaires, and nearly 20 of the country’s largest companies by revenue, according to research by independent think tank Cedar (Center for Data and Research on Russia), reviewed by The Bell.
